32 child labourers rescued from Delhi

On the eve of the World Day Against Child Labour, 32 child labourers were rescued today from different bakery units in the national capital.

The raid was conducted on a tip-off from child rights NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA).

The children were earning around Rs 20 per week (Rs 80 a month) for 12-14 hours of work every day, a BBA official said.
