3 held for murder of RSS office-bearer Sunil Joshi

Five persons were wanted in connection with the murder of Joshi who was an accused in the Ajmer blast case. Two others are absconding.

Police arrested three persons, including Harshad Solanki, in connection with the murder of RSS office-bearer Sunil Joshi who is linked to Ajmer dargah blast of 2007.

Solanki is already in the custody of Rajasthan ATS for his alleged role in Ajmer blast case while the other two arrested include Vasudev Parmar of Dewas in Madhya Pradesh and Anand Raj of Indore.

Vinod Kushwaha, the investigating officer, said the trio was taken into custody and efforts were on nab the two others who are allegedly involved in the blast.

The trio was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Kamlesh Kumar Soni who sent Solanki to judicial custody till December 30 while Mehul and Ramesh were remanded to police custody till December 24.

According to police, Solanki admitted that he had murdered Joshi, as he was not behaving properly.

Joshi was murdered under mysterious conditions in Dewas in December 2007.

The dargah blast left three persons dead.
