Three bookies were arrested for accepting bets to the tune of Rs1 crore on today's one-day international, played between Pakistan and New Zealand in Auckland, police said.
On a tip-off, the crime branch raided a flat in Vijay Nagar area and caught the trio - Puneet Khandelwal, Gaurav Khandelwal and Jagdish Malani - who were allegedly running a betting racket in Ghaziabad.
About 73 chits, having details of Rs1 crore bets, 16 cell phones, two TV sets, a laptop, recorder and calculator used in running the racket were also seized, police said.
