22nd Vijayawada Book Festival begins today in Andhra Pradesh

The 22nd Vijayawada Book Festival commenced today with 206 publishers from various languages participating in the 11-day event.

This year, the Vijayawada Book Festival Society, the organiser of the festival announced that it will focus on Malayalam literature and subjects on Kerala to attract book lovers.

Prominent publishers which are taking part in the festival include Sahitya Academy, Ramakrishna Mission, National Book Trust, Publications Division and other prominent book publishers and distributors.

The organisers will also conduct seminars on literature, hold various competitions for students and also allow publishers to release their new books.
