20 injured in Kupwara road mishap

At least 20 people were on Monday injured when a bus in which they were travelling met with an accident in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, officials said in Srinagar.

The bus, on its way from Lalpora to Kupwara — 110km from Srinagar, skidded off the road when the driver lost control over the vehicle and fell into a stream at Rednag village, they said.

They said 20 passengers were injured in the accident. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Kupwara.
