2 youths arrested for raising anti-national slogans in J&K

Two youths have been arrested for allegedly in connection with raising anti-national and pro-freedom slogans at the Jammu varsity taking total number of arrested persons to 16, police said.
 
Police team conducted raid at Khatianka Talab area of Jammu city and arrested Qamran and Shafiq, in connection with raising of anti-India and pro-freedom slogans at the gate of Jammu University, police officials said.
 
Qamran is the son of top militant and former JKLF chief for Jammu Kaka Hussain, they said.
 
With these arrests, total number of persons arrested so far in this case have gone up to 16, they said, adding hunt for one more youth have been launched as a total of 17 youths were identified in anti-India protest march on August 10 in Jammu.
 
Fourteen youth, including 10 medical students, were arrested on August 12 in this case and were later bailed out.
 
A case stands registered against them.
