Police said they have arrested Reva Parmar, 24, and Mahendra Parmar, 52, both residents of Shri Chamunda ni chali near Ramapir no Tekro in Juna Vadaj. They are said to be relatives. The police said that the duo is being interrogated to know the motive behind the murder.

Last week, 40-years-old Suresh was allegedly killed by five people. The reason is said to be the niece of Suresh with whom a youth named Arun was reportedly planning to marry. Sources said that Suresh was against this relationship and he seized the girl's birth certificates.

"Arun was probably irked by this development. He, along with four others, went to meet Suresh. However, their arguments took a violent turn and a clash between them ensued in which Suresh and his relative Amrut sustained serious injuries," said a police official.

Police said that the duo was rushed to VS Hospital where doctors declared Suresh brought dead while Amrut survived. Thereafter, Suresh's brother Lalit Chhaparia lodged a complaint with Naranpura police station. A cross complaint was also filed by the accused.
