10-year-old murdered, hanged from tree in Uttar Pradesh

A 10-year-old boy was allegedly murdered and hanged from a tree in Rampur-Mathura area, police said today.

Haroon was found hanging from a tree yesterday in Basantipur village after being murdered, they said.

His family members alleged that the incident took place due to a land dispute.

A probe is on in the matter and a manhunt has been launched to nab the assailant, the police said.
