10 members of family taken ill in Uttarakhand

Ten members of a family, including four women and three children, were taken ill after consuming contaminated food at Dileepnagar village of Udhamsingh Nagar district near here, police said today.
   
The family complained of uneasiness and vomiting after eating their dinner last night. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital from where they were referred to the district hospital at Rudrapur this morning.
   
The condition of two of the members is stated to be serious. However, other members are now stable, the police said.

The doctors attending on the family said that they might have consumed contaminated food which caused food poisoning.
