Uttar Pradesh records over 58% polling till 5pm

Brisk polling is going on in 11 seats in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh with over 58.86% polling recorded till 5 pm to decide the fate of 150 candidates.

According to EC sources, Nagina witnessed 61.98% polling while Moradabad and Rampur recorded 61.22% and 69.32% polling respectively.

Sambhal recorded 56.8% polling, Amroha 52.12%, Badaun 54.6%, Aonla 56.8%, Bareilly 60%, Pilibhit 57.2, Shahjahanpur 55.5% and Kheri 61.64%.

In this phase, polling is taking place in Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Amroha, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Nagina, Aonla and Kheri.

Maneka Gandhi, Santosh Gangwar, Saleem Sherwani and Begum Noor Bano are among the prominent candidates who are in the fray from UP in the second phase.
