A crocodile has been sighted at the Morjim beach in Goa and Goa Forest Department has confirmed it, reports The Indian Express. The area is known as 'Little Russia' and is 30 kms from  Panjim beach.

A local Nilesh Bagkar shared the photos of the fully grown croc going to the sea. “It is not from the sea. It must have come from the Chapora river, which flows into the sea at Morjim. It must have been chased by the dogs and that is why it ended there,” Deputy conservator of forests D N F Carvalho told IANS on Thursday.
