One militant killed in encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara

One militant has reportedly been killed in an ongoing encounter between the army and militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on Tuesday.

The encounter comes a month after the ceasefire violations across the Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan. A few days ago, security forces had busted a militant hideout in Kupwara and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in the operation.
