One dead, 20 children injured after school bus and truck collide in Bihar's Aurangabad

At least one schoolchild died and 20 others were left injured when a school bus carrying children collided with a truck in Bihar's Aurangabad district last Monday night. 

The children were returning from an educational trip to Rajgir when the collision between the bus and the truck took place in Barun area of the district. 

A senior official said the seriously injured children have been referred to Jamui while others have been given first aid and are under observation by a team of doctors. 

"One child has died. Those who were admitted here have been given first aid & the ones who were critical have been referred to Jamui. A team of doctors is looking after all of them," Aurangabad SDM Aurangabad Pradeep Kumar said.
