New Rs 50 currency notes land in Jaipur

The batch of new Rs 50 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi series have reached the Reserve Bank of India in Jaipur on Monday. The arrangements are being made for distributing it to the public from either Tuesday or Wednesday, informed the sources.

RBI had released the new notes in August this year along with new Rs 200 denomination notes. The distribution of Rs 200 notes was started from Ganesh Chaturthi and a lot of excitement was seen in the public.
