Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Thursday said that BJP's "Tsunami wave" will wash away the Congress.

Speaking at a rally here, Modi said, "There is Tsunami like wave in the entire country and this Tsunami will washout the existence of Congress party."

The rally on the day of the sixth phase of the general elections, in which voters of 117 constituencies in the nation's 11 states and one Union Territory cast their ballots.

Modi also emphasized on carrying forward the vision of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee of interlinking the rivers of Nepal and India for the development of Bihar.

"Atal Bihar Vajpayee had a vision of interlinking the rivers of India and Nepal and we are going to take forward his vision after coming to power," said Modi, who filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha polls from Varanasi earlier today.
