Dera Sachha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is unfazed by the controversy surrounding his film "Messenger of God" saying he has even planned a sequel to it and wondered why the censor board created a furore over his venture.

Referring to the resignation of censor board chief Leela Samson along with its members, he said, "I wonder why they created this furore. First they said they have resigned for the film, then they said they have resigned for manipulation and then they blamed the government. I don't know their thought process. I don't know why people have created controversy before they have seen the film." He asked people to come out in support of his film and watch it in theatres.

"Now I have got the go ahead signal from the censor board so people should watch the film. The main aim of my film is to make the youth stronger," he said, adding there will be sequel to his film too.

He was hopeful that his film will be released despite protests in several parts of the country including Punjab.

"Yes there are protests against the film. But the chief minister of Punjab told me if I get a clean certificate from censor board then his government will decide. People have spoken against my film before watching. The film is against all bad things I am hopeful people will like it." Asked about the release date of the film he said, "It is not yet decided."

Talking about the changes made in the film after being asked by censor board he said, "There is a line in the film which the censor board objected and we are muting that particular scene. And there are few lines they want to add before and when the film ends."
