Google wishes 'Teacher's Day' with animated doodle

On the occasion of Teacher's Day in India, the search engine giant Google on Saturday wished Teacher's Day on its India homepage with an animated doodle.

Upon opening Google's India homepage, you see two hands appearing slowly and solving an algebra question on a board to figure out the value of x together.  After solving the math problem both the hands high-five to celebrate the feat. One hand appears to be of a teacher's and the other of a student's.

Teacher's Day is celebrated in India on September 5 to honour the role and importance of a teacher in an individual's life. In India, Teachers’ Day marks the birth anniversary of the country’s first Vice President and second President, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was also an academician and philosopher.
