External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday expressed her gratitude towards the Edhi Foundation which took care of Geeta while she was in Pakistan. "I am very happy. It is after so long that our innocent Geeta has returned to her nation. I am extremely thankful to Edhi foundation. I don"t have words to express my gratitude," she said. "Your husband, Abdul Sattar Edhi and Mrs. Bilquis Bano, I have thanked you separately. But I want to thank you for loving her like your own daughter and also protecting her religion. You also safeguarded her eating habits," Swaraj added. She further thanked the foundation on behalf of the head of the state and the entire nation.
