FIR filed against Twitter handle for posting communal tweets

An FIR was filed against a Twitter handle @anujkg25 for posting communal tweets on the Dadri lynching issue, reports an English daily. The FIR was reportedly filed at noida's Sector 20 police station on Friday. 

Gautam Budh Nagar district magistrate NP Singh told the English daily that they are keeping a close tab on such comments on social media. He confirmed that Twitter handle @anujkg25 has been booked for posting communal tweets. 

More tweets were made from the handle hours after the FIR was lodged. Most of the tweets were in Hindi. In one such tweet, the handle said, "There are no FIRs filed against people who spread hate against Hindu on Twitter. Media is always hate-mongering against Hindus, trying to spoil the image of Hindus."

In another tweet, the handle said, "I haven't killed anyone nor have my tweets led to the Dadri lynching."
