Download UPSC CDS (I) exam 2017 admit cards from upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued admit cards for Combined Defence Services (CDS) I examination to be held on February 5, 2017, on their official website - www.upsc.gov.in

Earlier, there was a notification that candidates would be issued an admit card weeks before the examination, however they have now been released earlier. Admit cards will be made available online only, they won't be sent by post.

The candidates applying for admission are eligible in the following academies:

  • Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
  • Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala
  • Air Force Academy, Hyderabad
  • Officers' Training Academy, Chennai​

How to download your admit card:

1. Visit the official website: upsc.gov.in

2. Click on 'Active Examinations' under 'Examination' tab.

3. Click on 'Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2017'

4. You will be directed to 'Combined Defence Services Examination(I), 2017' page.

5. Click on 'Click here' option in the table next to e - Admit Card.

Download and take a printout for further reference. You will not be allowed to appear for the examination without admit card.

About UPSC CDS:

Combined Defence Service Examination (CDS) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year to induct officers into the Indian Defence Forces i.e. the Army and the Air force. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

There is negative marking for wrong answers marked in the Objective Type Question Papers.
