Bihar police team visits Dial-100 facility in Bhopal

With an aim to launch Dial-100 scheme in Bihar, a police team led by Inspector General (IG) Modernisation (Bihar) Amit Kumar Jain visited the similar facility in the state capital here today to study the project.

Dial-100 police teams reach any spot within minimum possible time after the crime or any incident takes place.

The scheme was launched in Madhya Pradesh in 2015.

Bihar's IG interacted with the team of Dial-100 led by additional director general of police (ADGP) Anvesh Mangalam and understood its successful implementation right from zero in Madhya Pradesh, an official release said.

The official also apprised himself of call trackers room, dispatcher room, server room and also about event monitoring and vehicle tracking system, it said.

The IG informed that soon it will be implemented in Bihar as well.

Assistant sub inspector Hemant Sharma also informed that once any call is received by the dial 100 team from any part of the state, it ensures that the dial 100 vehicle rushes to the spot within three minutes from the time of first information.
