Bengaluru: Schoolboy writes to PM complaining about traffic woes

The Prime Minister’s Office has responded and asked the Railways to look into the issue adds the report.

Traffic woes in Bengaluru are well know. And while adults often crib, a  young boy decided to at least try and address the matter by bringing it to the notice of PMO.

Eight-year-old boy in Bengaluru has got the attention of a lot of people. Abhinav, who studies in Class 3 at National Public School, decided to write to the Prime Minsiter’s Office because he was getting stuck in traffic everyday on his way to school.

A leading daily reports that it takes Abhinav 45 minutes to travel a three km distance from home to school. He lives in Doddabommasandra while his school is in Yeshwanthpur. In his letter, Abhivnav has stated that the traffic jam was being caused due to a flyover that was under construction over a railway crossing near the Goraguntepalya junction on the Outer Ring Road. He has written that it not only affected people’s health but also his studies.
