Yeh Rishta... goes to Bangkok

Close on the heels of Saraswatichandra shooting in London, comes news that the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will be going to Bangkok. The unit comprising six principle actors of the show that includes Karan Mehra and Hina Khan will be leaving in two days. Says producer Rajan Shahi, "We will be there for a week and shooting some major twists that I cannot reveal now.

The track will be of the family going on a holiday overseas for the first time. The idea is to show how a traditional family particular about its lifestyle and eating habits feels in foreign land." He adds that earlier too they had planned shoots in Las Vegas or Macau but it never materialised. "Finally, Bangkok has worked out and we have a good reason to go," he smiles.
