Who convinced Priyanka Chopra to sing for 'Dil Dhadakne Do'?

The title track from 'Dil Dhadakne Do' has been unveiled and it is the first time that Priyanka Chopra has lent her voice to a song in her film. Everyone is well aware about Priyanka Chopra's singing outings in the past for her singles. However, this is for the first time that she has crooned for a film. But there's something that people don't know. It was her DDD co-star Farhan Akhtar who cajoled her to sing for the film. 

Farhan who has himself sung the song has always appreciated Priyanka's singing skills and once the plans were made, he wanted PeeCee to take the mic up. The title track of the song is quite urban and peppy and features the entire cast together. 

Priyanka has consciously stayed away from singing in films and has even been vocal about how she does not foray into singing for films. However Farhan seems to have managed to convince her to lend her voice. For the first time Priyanka has done playback singing for the title track of Dil Dhadakne Do. She has lent her voice to Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah for the song.

The duo - Farhan and Priyanka had fun recording the song and then shooting it along with the entire cast. The trailer of this most awaited film has been loved by the audiences. With a stellar cast and shot at beautiful locations, Zoya Akhtar's next, Dil Dhadakne Do is slated to release on June 5.
