If Marvel has their lovable superheroes, DC has an intriguing pool of supervillains and in the new trailer for Suicide Squad, we are treated to a better look at the band of these misfits.

Warner Bros are going big on DC Universe. It started with Man of Steel and then came Batman v Superman. The next installment in the series is Suicide Squad.

In which, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), a US intelligence officer, assembles a team of world's most dangerous, incarcerated supervillains to bring down enigmatic, insuperable entity goes by the name, The Joker. It's a foolproof plan because these despicable individuals have nothing to lose and their failure on the battleground (read death) means good riddance. Or is it? Because what if the Suicide Squad goes every man for himself?

The new trailer was introduced on the platform of MTV Movie Awards by Will Smith and Jared Leto, they play Deadshot and The Joker respectively.

In the trailer, for the first time we see the comic side of the dark drama. Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) lets the commanding officer know that vexing comes naturally to her. On the other hand, Deadshot is provoking El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) as a result of which he cooks up firestorm no one has seen before.

This is the first time we are getting a better look at Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), and Ben Affleck's appearance.

Set to 'You Don't Own Me by Grace and G-Eazy, the trailer gives you more of Joker and his flashy, psychotic, and creepy life.

Directed by David Ayer, the movie is set to release on August 5.
