The survivors of five seasons of 'Game of Thrones' are out to play against the odds! We shall see who moves on to the next level!
They promised a tease and they have delivered.
HBO released the new teaser for the sixth season of their award-winning series Game of Thrones during Martin Scorsese's Vinyl.
It starts with a murmur of all the characters in the series while we are given a tour of 'House of Black and White' the headquarters of 'Faceless Men'.
Then we are given a close-up of every Stark that has died or presumed to be dead. Read Jon Snow here. Or maybe Catelyn Stark too if we are still going by the book and she has been resurrected. Anywho.
First up is Ned Stark's head which we last saw put up on a spike in King's Landing at the end of season one. "The man who passes a sentence should swing the sword," it says.
His successor, of Robb Stark and a major player in probably the bloodiest episode of the franchise, 'Red Wedding', is the next head to speak. "I've won every battle, but I am losing this war," the head quips.
Mama Stark, Catelyn too has something to say - "Show them how it feels to lose what they love."
The focus shifts to Geoffrey Baratheon. And rightfully we get the most sadistic line that ever came out of that mouth: "Everyone is mine to torment"
Jon Stark, the mystery of this season and the reason we have and shall keep it together (?) until we get to watch the new season is the next one to speak. "The long night is coming, and the dead come with it"
The bone-chilling part of the teaser follows - Heads of Sansa, Arya Stark, Cersei and Jaime Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen are brought into focus with the creepiest background score ever!
The fate of these characters who have fought every inch to survive in every season hangs in the balance. Who gets to move forward and who shall be another head in the House of Black and White? We shall see in the season premiering April 24.
