Pratyusha Banerjee suicide: Police looking into the possible pregnancy angle

Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide case has now taken another turn. The TV actress committed suicide on Friday and reports suggest that it was her troubled love-life which drove her to take that extreme step. Now, there's a fresh twist to the story. Reportedly, there might be chances of Pratyusha being pregnant when she committed suicide. 

According to an article on Spotboye.com, a thickish fluid was found in the actress' uterus during post-mortem. "The fluid has been preserved and sent for histopathology tests, to confirm pregnancy and to rule out infection within the uterus," said police surgeon Dr S.M. Patil to the online portal. 

But nothing has been confirmed as of now. It will only be confirmed after the tests are done. Pratyusha who rose to fame with Balika Vadhu where she played the titular character was found hanging in her residence at Goregaon on Friday. 

Rahul Raj Singh, her boyfriend who she shared the apartment with immediately drove her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. There have been reports alleging foul play but the initial reports have dismissed all such speculations. Now, the testing of the fluid is being done and it will be after the test reports come that the doctors can confirm whether Pratyusha was pregnant or not.
