Rishi Kapoor gets flak after sharing a Hillary Clinton-Monica Lewinsky joke on Twitter

Rishi Kapoor, known for being utterly irreverent on Twitter got into a state of bother when he tweeted about the US elections. He tweeted a picture of Hillary Clinton with the caption: “Monica is this right?” Along with the caption, he wrote: “History being checked! Tx for it ABjr (Abhishek Bachchan?). If it wasn't RIGHT ,it would have LEFT a bad taste.”

The joke, for those born after a certain time refers to Bill Clinton’s infamous dalliance with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. A lot of people weren't happy with the tweet and felt that it was 'misogynist' and disrespectful of Hillary Clinton.
