Rana Daggubati is busy with his trilingual film Ghazi and recently spent eight nights shooting underwater for the film. Speaking about his experience to dna, the Baahubali actor said that it was an important underwater sequence for the movie and that he gave it his all.

"We have built a set on this huge swimming pool in Hyderabad. There are six submarine compartments that have been built in total," reveals Rana who is a certified diver. The actor did not have to undergo any special training, but he did refresh his swimming and diving skills during the shoot. He did however get some agility training. The underwater sequences were not easy, but he was totally committed to delivering his best, he said. These were all shot in one compartment that was submerged half in water and half above.

Ghazi is about the Pakistani submarine, PNS Ghazi, which sank off the coast of Vizag while going to the Bay of Bengal. This was during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

"I will complete the shoot for Ghazi by the end of March or first week of April," says Rana, adding that there is a lot of CG work involved in the Sankalp Reddy-directed film. The movie, he says, will release in 2016 in Telugu and Hindi and be dubbed in Tamil.
