Rajkumar Hirani's holiday after PK

With the release date of PK coming closer, director Rajkumar Hirani's excitement is palpable. Not just that the film is releasing, but also because what he has planned right after PK hits theatres! The director has planned to take a holiday with his family and explore the country. A source close to the director confirmed it saying, "Raju has been working really hard for PK. He was busy editing the film and he finally gifted himself the final print of the film on his birthday. Now that PK is releasing this week, he is planning to take off to different corners of India to meet new people and explore their lifestyle. He is definitely looking forward to travelling across the country - something he has not done before."

However, the India tour has been planned with some bigger plans in mind. "He wants to see what more India has to offer to him. He is planning to take some inputs from the locals living in different places and combine it all together to make another beautiful film. It is just in the nascent stage and Raju as always wants to make sure his research is perfect," adds the source.

Known to churn out some extremely socially relevant films, Raju's planning another surprise. When contacted, Hirani said, "I am looking forward to taking a break after PK to discover India and meet new people"
