Marathi film 'Tapaal' leaves Sridevi teary-eyed

Bollywood actress Sridevi got teary eyed after watching Laxman Utekar's directorial debut Marathi film Tapaal. The actress took to the micro blogging site to express her feelings about the movie as well its director.

Chandni fame actress seems to be personally connected with the movie as Laxman was the cinematographer of Sridevi's latest blockbuster English Vinglish, which was loved by both the critics and the masses alike

Expressing Sridevi tweeted:

Laxman who was DoP of English Vinglish has done a commendable job in his first film as director & has packed some memorable moments in Tapal

Tapaal is a story of a little boy and a childless couple who, and the social descrimination faced by them in their small village.

Produced by Maitreya Mass Media and distributed by Pickle Entertainment, starring the likes of Nandu Madhav, Veena Jamkar, Milind Gunaji, Urmila Kanetkar and introducing Rohit Utekar, Tapaal has already won accolades on a global front, whether the regional flick will be able to create the right buzz in India, the masses shall figure out on the date of its release, i.e, September 26.
