At a time when Bollywood superstars are jumping on the brand bandwagon, endorsing almost everything- from condoms to toilet cleaners, Kangana Ranaut has taken the route less travelled. Much like her manoeuvre in the filmy business, Kangana made heads turn with her ballistic attitude as she turned down a lucrative deal with a fairness cream brand.

Living life on her own rules, Kangana has always been one of the honest celebrities around and doesn't mince her words ever. While she has had a fearless run at the box office with her recent string of successful films, the actress was offered a huge deal with a leading fairness cream brand worth Rs 2 crore. Given that the money coming along with the offer was huge, people must have expected Kangs to take it up. But she didn't do the conventional.

Talking to a leading daily, she clarified that she has never understood the concept of fairness and she does not want to set a bad example in front of the youth by endorsing a fairness cream brand. Being a public figure, Kangana is quite aware of her responsibilities and wants to stick to them.

Her dual avatar in Tanu Weds Manu Returns must have been winning a lot of hearts and she must be walking away with all the ceetees and the taalis. But this strong stance has definitely earned her lot more respect from the people. Way to go, Kangana!
