B-Town awakened to the news that Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, Sunjay Kapoor, tied the knot with his long time girlfriend, Priya Sachdev, in a quiet and closed ceremony. Now, it seems like Karisma herself might have some good news to share as well.
With Sunjay moving on with his life, Karisma might now be able to do the same. Karisma and her boyfriend, Sandeep Toshniwal, may not have that big roadblock in their path to a happy ending anymore, as reports suggest that Toshniwal's wife, Dr. Ashrita, is ready to proceed with filing a divorce from him.
According to SpotboyE.com, Dr. Ashrita has now had a change of heart and has agreed to officially separate from her husband. She was apparently convinced by close friends to go ahead with it lest she lose out on what she's liable to receive as settlement. Sources from the entertainment portal have confirmed that preliminary proceedings have already begun and basic terms have been decided on.
The report also added that they've mutually decided on a final alimony as well. Ashrita will get Rs 2 crore and each of their two daughters will get Rs 3 crore. Ashrita will get to keep custody of their children and Sandeep's visitation rights have not been decided on yet. Also, Ashrita will get to keep their New Delhi residence.
The two have been facing troubles for the past few months, with Ashrita accusing Sandeep of adultery and Sandeep's legal team denouncing Ashrita's sanity. Also, Sandeep and Karisma have gotten much closer since then, making a lot more public appearances together. Karisma had divorced Sunjay Kapoor in 2016.
With no more wife in the mix, does this mean that we might hear wedding bells for Karisma and Sandeep soon? Only time will tell.
