Housefull and Housefull 2 turned out to be blockbusters. Raining crores at the box office, the films had made the audiences go crazy with its silly humour. Now, the producers are back with Housefull 3, albeit with no Sajid Khan. This time, it's Sajid-Farhad who's replaced Khan and the entire team launched the theatrical trailer of the film on Sunday.

Known for the silly and loud humour, Housefull 3 is similar to its predecessors. In a lot more ways than one. The Housefull franchises have always been mindless entertainers. The 3 minute long trailer promises to deliver the usual dose of entertainment for sure. Firstly, the story is as convoluted as it can get. Rings a bell? All other Housefull installments too had a similar comedy-of-errors plotline.

Rightaway you are drawn into the life of Boman Irani and three 'sanskari' girls played by Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. They have fallen in love with the three powerful heroes- Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh. But there's a problem. Daddy Boman doesn't want his daughters to get married. And starts the mad-cap comedy of errors.

The trailer isn't completely unfunny but it does lack the punch of the previous Housefull instalments. Despite sticking to the genre, Sajid-Farhad's writing has definitely made a dent. Hopefully, the flawed trailer is just that much. The film, inspite of all its flaws is expected to set our ribs tickling. On the contrary, there are some rip-roaring moments as well.

Firstly 'Jack-lean on me' and 'Dance Indian Dance' line brings a smile. Then obviously, there's a funny dig at Salman Khan's bachelor-hood. Imagine Abhishek clicking a picture with Big B's wax statue and Nargis introducing him with 'Mera boyfriend toh kisi bade baap ke beta lagta hai.' Also, we loved how the team made fun of Abhishek being the newest entrant in the Housefull team. All in all, the trailer does bring in a few laughs but it could have been way better. Nevertheless, we are still excited for this one!
