The Kiku Sharda-Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh controversy doesn't seem to end. It all started with Kiku imitating the Dera Saucha leader on his show Comedy Nights with Kapil. Following this, the Godman's followers took offence and filed a case against the comedian. On Wednesday in the wee hours of the morning, while shooting for the last episode of CNWK, Kiku was arrested, only to be allowed to leave on bail at 6 pm. But before the actor could breathe a sigh of relief, he was yet again reprimanded for his behaviour and another case was filed against him.

Police arrested him yet again on Wednesday night and he will be produced before a Fatehabad court on Thursday. Kiku who apologised to Gurmeet Ram Rahim as well as his followers spoke to a leading channel and told, "It was a dance performance. We had a choreographer. If we knew it's going to hurt sentiments, it could have been avoided. Maybe my knowledge was less, I wasn't sure that it would become this big. It could've been shot and edited. Why should I be solely blamed?"

Kiku recalls the entire incident. ""On the day of my shoot in Mumbai, where I was shooting for 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'...the cops come and tell me that there is a warrant and we need to move and go to another city in another state so, that is too sudden and harsh. If I had received the summons before, things would have been different," he told.

On having to spend another night in jail, Kiku is visibly displeased. "One more night in jail, I am very upset. I am a sensitive person and this has really affected me. I'm just hoping that tomorrow morning I will get bail," he told a leading daily sometime before he was arrested the second time." Kiku tried clearing the air and even repeated, "I am a member of the entertainment industry, I did not mean to offend anyone."

Now, we need to see whether this fiasco takes another interesting turn or will Kiku's ordeal finally come to an end?
