Trust HBO to mislead you to the fullest.

The showrunners of Game of Thrones have released the title and description of the first episode of the sixth season. Let's take a look before we start formulating theories.

Title - The Red Woman

Synopsis - Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.

Description - Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.

Did you see the clever thing HBO did?

The cast has been beating their chests with the chants of 'Jon Snow is dead.' Showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss have told the president of United States of America that 'Jon Snow is deader than dead.' David Nutter, the notorious director behind 'The Red Wedding' had also said that Jon Snow is dead.

So, people who have not trusted the showrunners, are now free to come up with the theories that involve Melisandre, the priestess, bringing Jon Snow back from the dead. We have seen Thoros of Myr who is with Brotherhood without Banners resurrect Beric Dondarrion a number of times. Both Thoros and Melisandre follow R'hllor, also known as the Lord of Light, the Heart of Fire, the God of Flame and Shadow, who is a prominent god in Essos.

Therefore, Jon Snow is 'technically' dead. But there are still chances that we will get to see Jon Snow 2.0.
