From Mel to Melody

Italian-American singer-songwriter Nadia Lanfranconi, better known as Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend, is all set to make her Bollywood debut in a film called Melody.

The film will be produced and directed by Sunil Babbar and will also feature music composed by her.

Talking about the musical, Babbar, who has also produced and written the film, says, "Melody is my dream project. The narrative of my film travels from the period of the great depression in World War II to the present times in 2015. It travels from the political boundaries of the Europe to America to India in these 70 years of time in a very significant way. The film has a unique and powerful narrative in it. I strongly believe that music and karma merge into each other, and that is what I am going to show in this film"

Babbar claims he has known Lanfranconi for some time.
