Former Bigg Boss contestant Sambhvna Seth is engaged!

Former feisty Bigg Boss contestant Sambhavna Seth is now engaged to her boyfriend Avinash Dwivedi! The actress reportedly got engaged on February 13, however announced it on Twitter only on Monday. 

According to reports, the dancer-cum-actress' parents were not happy with her relationship with Avinash, yet she went ahead against thier wishes. 

Speaking to an online entertainment portal, Sambhavna says that she tried to convince her parents for over 5 years, but they did not agree. Her parents were concerned that Avinash wasn't financially settled and so they didn't give their consent.

"It's not that I took this decision take immediately. Its been five years and my parents asked me to meet prospective grooms for marriage. Respecting them, I even met a couple of them. But, when they uploaded my profile on matrimonial sites, I realised its time to make them realise that Avinash and I cannot live without each other," Sambhavna told IndiaForum.

The actress adds that whatever the case may be, she will continue to convince her parents until they accept Avinash.

Sambhavna met Avinash on the sets of a regional reality show where he was her mentor. Sambhavna rose to fame during her stint on Bigg Boss season 2. She was seen in a couple of television shows post that. She also performed an item song in the movie Welcome Back.
