The new images from X-Men: Apocalypse are here and they give a better look at the baddies of the mutant world.
Bryan Singer's third instalment in the prequel series of X-Men will release on May 27. This time around, the X-Men are fighting a mutant capable of wrecking havoc beyond their imagination. Oscar Isaac will play Apocalypse who recruits Magneto (Michael Fassbender) Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), and Angel (Ben Hardy) as his four horsemen.
Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) too has a new addition to his 'School of Gifted Youngsters'. Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Ty Sheridan), Night Crawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) will take part in the battle like nothing before.
Empire magazine unveiled the new images in their latest issue.

In the first image, the four horsemen look so fierce and all set to burn the world on one command by Apocalypse. From the looks of it, they are starting with Xavier's home.

Ben Hardy's Angel looks like someone who lost their way home after getting drunk at the local pub. He is the one who needs to be recruited somewhere! This look is nothing like the one we see in the first tweet. Therefore watching him transition should be fun.

Jean and Nightcrawler are in the middle of a chaos vowing to swallow them whole. This is our first look at the battlegear that the school provides the specially gifted. Quite a change from the hand woven robes of Winterfell eh, Miss Turner?

Director Bryan Singer joins the gang of do-gooders for the photo op. You can see Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), The Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters) are back to the gang they started with. Squint your eyes to pay attention to Nightcrawler's outfit. A sweet nod to the attire in the comic book.
