'Brothers' my most challenging role: Sidharth Malhotra

Sidharth Malhotra has tried doing something new and different each time he signed a film. Recently, he has wooed his audiences by a mere trailer of his upcoming film- 'Brothers'. Flaunting a rugged intense look, Sid has already drawn a lot of cheers for his look.

Sid has managed to engrave himself as an action hero in the minds of his fans. After 'Ek Villain', he is returning to action one more time. This will be his first full fledged role as a boxer. But the journey of Monty was mentally exhausting says Sidharth.

"The character needed me to have an extreme level of aggression, anger and frustration. It has left me mentally and physically exhausted. But I am really happy of what it has turned out to be. It's my most challenging role till date," says Sidharth.

Not only was that opposite from what the young Punjabi lad is like in reality, but things became challenging when he had to have a certain degree of resentment towards his onscreen family.

Being a family person, Sid found it difficult to exhibit hatred towards his onscreen father and brother. That was the toughest part of the job regards Sidharth stating that though it was challenging but it was a 'beautiful learning experience'. "That was the most difficult part to bring in so much aggression and hatred inside. I am totally the opposite in reality so it was definitely something I had to bring into myself."

The mental transition he went through during the filming has helped him further to understand the character of Monty which is played by him in the film. A few days down the line, Sid not only felt like Monty, the street fighter physically but also mentally. "It took me few days but after that I was on track," he smiles.
