The last time we saw her on screen was when she played Rizwan Khan's ladylove Mandira in My Name is Khan. Over five years later, Kajol is finally returning back to the silver screen, yet again with Shah Rukh Khan in tow for Rohit Shetty's Dilwale. While the first look picture of the film has already become a rage, Kajol is still not ready to take the plunge full-on.

In a previous interview with the diva, we had uncovered different layers to the actress. From talking parenthood to movies, the actress discusses her priorities and explains why she can never get used to usual shoo-sha of the glittery world and how she will always take periodical breaks to give time to her family...

'I wanted to become a mother since I was 8'

People aspire to become doctors and engineers, I always wanted to become a mother. Ever since I was 8, I aspired to become a mom. By the time I was 13, I thought I could become a mom but my mom obviously disapproved of the notion. (Laughs) Finally I became a mother when I was 28 and my life changed.

'I am a pretty hands-on mom'

Unlike other actresses, who definitely has to leave their kids due to work commitments, I have always tried to balance it out between my children and my work. My family, my husband, my kids are my first priority. That can never change. So yes, even if I do one or two films in between, I will keep taking breaks to be with my kids because I feel kids need their mothers the most during their formative years.

'My kids don't get star-kids treatment'

That's one notion I disapprove of. There are obviously people at my home who won't be able to say anything to Nysa or Yug, thinking that they are Ajay Devgn and Kajol's kids. But I don't want that to happen at all. They should have a normal upbringing and I don't give my kids the star-kids treatment. I even ask people around not to do the same. It just spoils them and I am strict that way.

'Nysa loves reading'

Nysa is growing up and initially I used to feel she is more like Ajay but now, while she is growing up I get to see a lot of me in her. It's a happy combination of both but yes, she loves reading just as I do! (Laughs)

'I will have another film'

I am doing a film under our production banner which will roll out soon and no, it's not a remake of any South Indian film.
