Bereaved Athiya Shetty will return to India soon

Suniel Shetty’s father Veerappa Shetty passed away yesterday.

He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital as he was not keeping well since a long time. He was 93.

The funeral is being held today at noon at the Worli cremation ground. However, Athiya Shetty who is shooting in London for her next film, Mubarakan, won’t be able to make it now. Says a source, “Athiya is completely devastated, but she couldn’t come back because it was only her second day of shoot yesterday. However, she will return to Mumbai for the 13th day rituals.”
