Aamir Khan recently launched the official poster of his next film Dangal. Featuring him along with his four on-screen daughters, the poster has received widespread praises from everywhere. Aamir also organised a big, fat launch event for the same. The last time Aamir faced the media was during his birthday (March) earlier this year and it was after four months that the media got to meet the superstar.

There were a lot of questions and some brilliant answers which followed. Here are 7 things Aamir said at the launch.

On wife Kiran's reaction to his transformation for Dangal:
"Kiran complains these days that because of the gruelling transformation I had to go through, my body has become hard. Earlier I was soft like a pillow so when I hug her now, she tells me that she doesn't feel the same anymore."

On Salman's rape remark:
"As per what media reported, what Salman said was rather unfortunate and insensitive. I haven't spoken to him. There are so many issues in front of us. But human nature is such that we only get attracted to negativity and controversies. Even I am like that. That's human tendency. In general, negativity sells more than positivity. If we decide to focus on positive things, we will find huge things happening at the grass-root level. People need to talk about that. I am affected by what is being reported. When someone says something disturbing, I do get disturbed." When asked if he gave advice to him, he said, "who am I to advise him?"

On contemplating to say yes to Dangal:
"I was sceptical about taking Dangal up. I was doing younger roles and here, he was presenting me as A 55 year old ugly man. Then I thought, aage kya hoga mere career ka? Tactically it didn't seem right. I thought i would do it when I am 55-60 myself. But then I thought I should just take it up. I then called Nitesh (Tiwary, the director) and told them that I want to do the film immediately; if I have to be mota I would do that too. And then I did. My only request was I want to shoot it ulta. I wanted to do the fat portion first and then do the slimmer version. At least doing it opposite will help me and put pressure on me to lose the weight. Had I done the opposite, I don't think I would have achieved the weight loss. I would be lazy otherwise."

On getting the title 'Dangal' for his film:
"Salman got me the title of Dangal. The script came to me with Dangal ka title. But Puneet Issar had the rights to Dangal. So i called Salman and he was helpful enough. He spoke to Puneet anmd got us the title. Contrary to the reports that claim we are fighting with each other, it was he who helped me."

On launching Dangal poster two days before Sultan:
"Sultan will be a huge super duper hit and I wanted the lakhs of people to watch our poster in the corner. We are using the huge potential that Sultan has to propel our film. Whoever watches Sultan should know that hum bhi aa rahe hai 6 mahine baad."

On SRK and Salman being bigger stars than him:
"I have always admitted that Salman and Shah Rukh are bigger stars than I am. If Salman and Shah Rukh enters a room, you feel a star has entered. I lack that quality. I am more like a waiter. I consider Big B, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik, Ranbir, Ranveer bigger stars than me. Salman and Shah Rukh have always been bigger stars there's no denying that."

On the growing friendship between Salman and Shah Rukh:
"Now I am happy Salman and SRK are spending time, chilling amd cycling. It's good. It doesn't mean that I am upset about them getting close. Aisa nahi hai ki maine dost banali toh woh kisi aur ka dost nahi ban sakta."
