The theatrical trailer of the Vidya Balan-Emraan Hashmi-Rajkumar Rao starrer has been officially unveiled and we have simply loved it.
It's just about a month left for Hamari Adhuri Kahani to hit theatres but the theatrical trailer, which was officially unveiled few hours back, has already upped everyone's anticipation. With a stellar star cast and a strong, powerful plot line, the theatrical trailer has given us a glimpse of what to expect from the film. And we seriously have high hopes from the film. We've watched the trailer many times on the loop already and the 3 minute trailer which captures the essence of the intense love brewing between the three characters is something we totally cannot get enough of.
The trailer which has brilliantly showcased some terrific moments from the film, has already geared us up for the film which hits theatres in June this year. Here's three of the major reasons why we're looking forward to the film.
The stellar cast:
Trust me when I say this- there could have been no other stars who would have possibly matched our expectations other than the power trio of HAK. Vidya Balan is a revelation throughout the 3 minutes you see her in the trailer. Vidya's back to what she does best. From her smile to her tears, she makes Vasudha her own and somewhere, right from the very beginning, the intensity of her performance grips on to you and there's an instant connect which might prove to be one of the biggest advantages for the film. Rajkumar Rao, despite having an extended cameo is enthralling as Hari. Villainous and menacing, Rajkumar plays the abusive husband to perfection. At least in the trailer. I love the scene where she professes her love for Emraan and he slaps her. The intensity of the film can be gauged from that one 'goose-bump' moment for sure. Emraan Hashmi can be seen playing the hero, like he never did. Somewhere the trailer makes me feel that Emraan is going to surprise us with HAK. We hope he does!
It's a Mohit Suri film:
He's hardly gone wrong with relationship stories. Whether it's Aashiqui 2 or Ek Villain, the director has managed to catch the audience pulse and create romantic sagas that doesn't just tug your hearts but is also relatable. One of the major qualities of Suri as a director is he presents his characters in such a way that you somehow begin owning them. We hope the master blaster maintains his winning streak with HAK as well.
The story:
When Mahesh Bhatt weaves a story, you can never question its quality. Coming from a man who has films like Tamanna, Arth and Saraansh to his name, you are sure this would not be a no-brainer, or be even remotely close to other romantic dramas. Bhatt saab is known to bring an element of novelty to anything he associates himself with and given that he's written the story of HAK has already taken our excitement for the film notches higher.
With powerful performers like Vidya Balan, Rajkumar Rao and Emraan Hashmi leading the pack in a Mohit Suri directorial, penned by Mahesh Bhatt, Hamari Adhuri Kahani has almost no chance of going wrong. And we definitely place our bets on this one!
