Bollywood’s iconic diva Sridevi, 54, breathed her last in a Dubai hotel late on Saturday night following a cardiac arrest. The news of her demise came as a shock to her fans, within and outside Bollywood.

Ever since the news broke, everyone is deeply saddened with Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan and host of other celebs paying their last respects on social media. Now veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who has worked with Sridevi in several films like Nagina, Gurudev and Chandni, has changed his Twitter profile picture to black and also changed his profile bio as a mark of respect to the late actress. His bio reads as, “Sridevi. RIP”

Moreover, he slammed the media for referring to the late actor Sridevi’s mortal remains as a “mere body”. The infuriated actor took to Twitter  to call out television news channels by asking if the departed actor’s individuality has been lost yet?

Sridevi was in Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor, daughter Khushi and other family members to attend nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. She fainted in her hotel room at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, where she was with her family, and was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.

As per media reports, the body’s repatriation was delayed as medical investigation and police formalities took time. Her mortal remains will be brought to Mumbai via a chartered plane and the last rites will take place at Mumbai’s Pawan Hans crematorium.

Meanwhile, well-wishers arrived at Anil Kapoor’s house last night. Karan Johar, Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Annu Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Neelima Azim, Vaibhavi Merchant were spotted entering the building last night.
