Sonakshi Sinha wants to reprise Rekha's role from Khoon Bhari Maang

Several remakes are being planned in tinseltown these days. With Varun Dhawan’s very successful Judwaa 2 setting a trend, we asked Sonakshi Sinha if she would be keen on reprising a role from a classic film.

The actress promptly replied, “It has to be Khoon Bhari Maang. I love Rekhaji’s role in it.” When prodded further, she reasons, “What’s there not to love about it? She gets to play a bechari, is thrown to a crocodile, and then turns into this woman seeking revenge. What a film! We can watch it any day. I usually don’t watch old movies, but this one is an exception.”

Interestingly, the 1988 film also starred Shatrughan Sinha in a pivotal role who helps Rekha avenge the wrong that is done to her and her kids. Prior to this revenge saga, Shotgun and Rekha collaborated on many movies like Kashmakash, Muqabla, Chehre Pe Chehra and Raam Tere Kitne Naam. Wonder if anyone is planning a remake already.
