As per reports, 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' revolves around the bond of brotherhood, which is the reason why renaming it 'Bhaijaan' would seem apt.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' has been reportedly renamed 'Bhaijaan'. The film which will be helmed by Farhad Samji is slated to hit the theatres on Diwali 2022. It stars actor Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Apart from this, the film will also star Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal among others.
While the film's shooting will reportedly begin in November 2021, the first look is expected to be released on Eid al-Adha in July this year.
According to a Times of India report, Salman Khan is expected to do a photoshoot with the cast of the movie at his Panvel farmhouse as soon as the COVID situation gets better. The report suggests designer Ashley Rebello has already started working on Salman's look for the film who will apparently be seen in a white kurta and jeans and will sport a clean-shaven look.
As per reports, the film revolves around the bond of brotherhood, which is the reason why renaming it 'Bhaijaan' would seem apt.
Reports also suggest that the action-comedy is a remake of a superhit Tamil film. The film will have Salman Khan play the role of the eldest of three brothers. In the film, Salman decides to remain unmarried since he is of the view that it may cause disharmony in the family. However, after his younger brothers find love, they conspire to find him a suitable match.
However, no official statement by the makers has been released yet.
Meanwhile, Salman also has a few other films in his kitty, including 'Tiger 3' alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He also has 'Kick 2' with Jacqueline Fernandez and 'Antim: The Final Truth, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
