Pataakha: Vishal Bhardwaj unveils his prime characters through a series of new posters

Pataakha is one of the more anticipated projects in Bollywood right now. Vishal Bhardwaj takes Charan Singh Pathik’s short story, Do Behnein, and turns it into a comedy-drama about two feuding sisters who have an epiphany about their relationship. While we patiently await the movie’s trailer, the film’s makers have released the posters for all the main characters of the film. Calling them ‘colourful’ is a bit of an understatement.

Sanya Malhotra will be playing the character of Genda ‘Chhutki’ Kumari, a rugged and feisty woman.

Newcomer Radhika Madan will be seen playing the role of Champa ‘Badki’ Kumari, Chhutki’s sister who looks sweet but is all-out ruthless.

Playing the pervy Tharki Patel will be Saanand Verma, who was dressed like a groom, and goes after Badki and Chhutki.

Vijay Raaz plays the frustrated father in this detail, Bechara Bapu, who can’t find a way to end his problems and looks like he’s really frustrated with life altogether.

The film releases in theatres on September 28, 2018. ‘The fight starts’ with the trailer, which will be released this Independence Day on August 15, 2018.
