Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari's father Rajendra Tiwari has finally spoken up about the incident invloving him allegedly assaulting former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli's wife Andrea Hewitt at a Mumbai mall on sunday. Speaking with ANI, Rajendra Tiwari said, "Yesterday, a woman accused me of touching her and she hit me. I told me sons about the incident. The woman and her husband Vinod Kambli started to fight with us. They should apologise to us publicly, we will pursue the case further."

On the other hand, Vinod Kambli's wife Andrea, is firm on her stance. Speaking about the complaint against Ankit Tiwari's father, she told the agency, "Yesterday, a man brushed himself against me & passed an inappropriate comment at me. What I did afterwards was right. Soon after his sons came and started arguing with me, later we filed an FIR."

Those who've come in late, popular Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari's father has been accused of 'inappropriately touching' former cricketer Vinod Kambli's wife Andrea at Inorbit Mall in Malad, Mumbai. Tiwari's father has also filed a police complaint against Kambli's wife at Bangur Nagar Police Station, claiming that she allegedly assaluted him and punched him in the face at the mall. She allegedly also took off her sandals to beat him up.

On the other hand, Kambli and his wife claim that the 59-year old man deliberately brushed his hand against Andrea. A Mumbai Mirror report had quoted Kambli as saying, "An old man deliberately brushed his hand against her (Andrea) and when she caught him in the act, he pushed her away. Minutes later, two men, who we assume were the man’s sons, tried to attack my wife."

But the Tiwaris have a completely different version of the story to tell. The tabloid further shared that Ankit's brother Ankur Tiwari alleges that Andrea punched his father and shouted at him. He says that his father is stunned by the incident and can’t believe someone can accuse him of such an act. "I asked him to speak to me politely, but he kept pushing me. His wife pushed me too. When I tried calling up the police, he snatched my phone," Tiwari was quoted as saying.
