Coming off on the success of Race 3 and just ahead of the trailer release of his new film, Anil Kapoor shared a brand new poster of Fanney Khan on Tuesday.

Giving a glimpse into the world of Fanney Khan, the poster shows Anil Kapoor on the terrace of a building practising his trumpet as the skyscrapers around him look down. This represents the determination to make your dreams big in the vulnerable entertainment industry.

Anil Kapoor captioned the image: "When your dreams don't let you sleep...#FanneyKhan Teaser out today!#FanneyKhanTeaser #AishwaryaRai

An earlier poster had Race 3 actor with his back towards the camera. He was seen carrying a backpack, a tiffin in one hand his trumpet on the other. A few pictures of legendary Bollywood singer Mohammad Rafi made a cameo on the poster. This is when the star first announced the date for the trailer release.

The story of Fanney Khan chronicles Anil Kapoor's character who wants to make it big in the music industry to fulfil his daughter's dream. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays a celebrated musician and Rajkummar Rao plays her love interest in the movie.

This is the third time Anil Kapoor will be playing a musician. In the beginning, he played Prem Pratap Singh (Patiala Wale) in Woh Saat Din. Then he played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's flamboyant mentor/aspiring lover in Subhash Ghai's Taal.

Directed by Atul Manjrekar, Fanney Khan is allegedly a remake of Dutch movie Everybody's Famous. The movie is produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and is scheduled to release on August 3.
